Just a quick post. I’m Busy, Busy, Busy!!
I have a quilt top I’m working on for Fabric Café – My favorite 3-yard Bundle shop! I want to get this done and back to Donna by the time she’s back from the Quilt Show in Paducah, KY. If you are going to the Show, stop by Booth #1722 and say hi to Donna & Robert!
Here’s the computer graphic of the top I’m making. I’m planning a post about the process with a couple of tips. But first the sewing must be done.
So, here are a few tips I’ve found on the Internet:
Thread Color Tip: Pat Sloan shares her thoughts on choosing thread colors.
9 Quilt Design Wall Ideas – Martingale’s Blog shares some ideas for portable, as well as permanent Design Walls.
Triangle Squares from Bias Strips – All People Quilt’s Blog shares a video demonstrating a quick way of making a lot of triangle squares without actually cutting triangles.
That’s it for today, I’ve got to get back to my sewing machine!
Happy Stitching!
