Spring has flown past, and it is hard to believe that this is June 1st! The nicer weather, yard work and gardens compete for time.
The Flowers. . .
And the Vegetables. . .
OK, maybe you can combine quilting and yard work! The Lilac filled the whole yard with it’s aroma.
If you have found my blog from Lily’s Quilts’ Fresh Sewing Day and Small Blog Meet, I’d like to welcome you!
On (most) Tuesdays I like to post links to sewing & quilting tips I’ve found on the Internet. Then on Fridays, I share free patterns that I have discovered and hope to one day make. Sundays I try to post weekly summaries and you can read about what I’ve done by clicking these links.
Today I’m linking up with Lily’s Quilts’ Fresh Sewing Day and Small Blog Meet.

Hi MaryEllen – I loved seeing the Square Dance quilt highlighted again. It looks like a great pattern for a twin sized quilt for the Light House shelter here. What size are the finished blocks?

The Square Dance blocks are 5-1/2″ and the pattern is available at http://www.fabriccafe.com and makes a lap quilt 45″ x 50″. It is made with 3 one-yard cuts of fabric.
