Here are some of the views in our yard. We need to remember them when the snows come this winter.
Daylilies are blooming! They need thinning but that may have to wait until next year.
Lots of other flowers blooming! I don’t remember the names of all of them. I just like looking at them!
Our Porch Garden – Tomatoes and Peppers. Finally, we’ve found tomatoes that the squirrels don’t like! It’s nice to walk out on the porch and pick them for snack or dinner.
Yup! Some of these are coming in this evening.
The Squash has lots of blooms.
We use tomato cages to help keep the squash from crawling all over the place.
More Squash.
This one is being picked. I like them about this size.
These will have to wait a few more days. For dinner, I like them a bit larger. But for a snack, these are about the right size.
Had to supervise Husband and Daughter as they worked to replace our 20+ year old ramp. What was to be a ‘quick’ weekend job turned into a two weekend job due to the excessive heat. I even did a bit of helping with the nail gun. Mostly I was the water girl, and made sure they took frequent breaks.
One of our cooler days. We had several in a row with temperatures nearing or over 100F. Add in the Heat Index/Humidity and it felt like 105F plus!
The weathermen (& ladies) are reporting that June has nearly been the wettest on record. We have a couple or more days and may get closer to the record.
I’ll be posting my June Summary on Wednesday, so remember to come back to see what we’ve been doing.
Until then,
Happy Stitching!

Beautiful flowers and garden! Poor Mel and Kim in that heat but nice to get that major project done!

I can’t even imagine living in a place where it’s so hot! Your garden looks so abundant! The little yellow flowers with the fringe-y foliage are coreopsis, BTW.
