This past week I shared on the Fabric Fun Blog a couple of tops I’ve made recently.
This is the Perfect Pets Pattern. Finished size is 42” x 53”
Here is a close up of the Puppy Block – a work in progress. This is done using raw-edge, fusible appliqué and I had just finished Blanket Stitching the appliqué and still needed to add the tail & nose
This pattern also has a Kitten Appliqué for those who prefer cats.
I do, at times, actually stitch my own projects. This quilt is one I made that will be a gift. The pattern is Sew Quick by Fabric Café and is really a quick top to make. This week we will be stitching the backing, and basting the quilt sandwich.
I’ve also been working on a couple of tutorials that I’ve been wanting to do. So no pictures of that. Is there anything about which you would like to see a tutorial? If there is, leave a comment and I’ll see what I can do. I love learning new things.
We’ve been enjoying tomatoes, green bell peppers, zucchini & yellow squash from our yard. I love picking something really fresh for dinner! Apparently so do the squirrels! We had our first large tomato and left it one more day. When DH went out to pick it, he found it had been picked and partially eaten.
Happy Stitching!
