Well, I cannot believe that it is September already! Where has the year gone??? This has been an unusual year for our family. Each month has brought on new challenges & adventures. So for now I’m going to try to get back on track with my sewing/quilting as well as doing a bit more blogging.
There are several groups on the Internet that I have been following and want to use them to help get me more productive. One group can be found at Elm Street Quilts – this blog is hosting a One Monthly Goal which invites us to choose one quilting related goal, post it on our blog adding a link and then posting at the end of the month when (if) we accomplish it.
Trying to organize myself to get something done, I have several projects in mind that I want to work on/accomplish this month. For September’s One Monthly Goal I’ve chosen to make a quilt top (otherwise known as a flimsy) for a 9-month old (more about him later).
I have the fabric picked out –

3 Yard Fabric for Noah’s Quilt
I will pick this up when I go to the PA National Quilt Extravaganza in Oaks, PA, later this month. I will be working at the Fabric Cafe Booth (#615). Come see us if you are in the Philadelphia area September 14-17! I still need to pick out a pattern, but have a couple of the Fabric Cafe 3-yard Bundle patterns in mind. So, although this is my One Monthly Goal for September, I won’t be starting it until after I return. You can see what others are making by going to Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal September Linkup.
I’ve got a couple of other things I’ll be working on until then.
Until then
Happy Stitching!
