One Monthly Goal Finished – December 2017

For December my OMG (One Monthly Goal) was to complete the Standard & Travel-size pillowcases to match the Choo Choo Quilt.  Bonus points (to me) will be if I could get the binding added & label made.

I’m happy to say I was able to accomplish my OMG for December!  YAY!! Standard size Pillowcase & Travel size Pillowcase with Pillow. The label is made and will be stitched on the back of the quilt while watching the Rose Bowl Parade on New Year’s Day.

As far as my other Goals for December, I didn’t make a list.  I have plenty of little projects, and UFOs as well as several remaining blocks for the Project Linus Mystery Quilt Challenge that I didn’t get to.

My remaining December Goal was to spend some time at least 3 days a week in my sewing room working on some of the many projects awaiting me there. While I did manage more time in my sewing room each week, it probably was only once or twice a week for about an hour or so.

I did a little stitching.  Found this pattern for a quick little project for storing scissors or rotary cutter or whatever.  See my notes on my post here.

I’ll be posting my OMG for January next year.  Although I have a number of projects, it is nice to pick just one and it feels good when it gets finished.  How about you?  Will you have just one project to get finished in January?
