In My Sewing Room

Cleaning is a never ending process!  It seems every time I need something I end up disassembling my space looking for it. I guess I need to get organized, but that will take away from my sewing projects. This weekend the room got disassembled looking for something I need to work on this week.

While at Quilt Retreat last month, I got a quilt top, matching travel pillowcase and some baby wash cloths done for a new grand-nephew.  The quilt is at the LAQ (Long-arm Quilter), so I want to work on the binding & label to be ready when it gets finished.

This week I need to get some other baby stitching done.  A quickie project which every new baby needs and cannot have enough – Burp Cloths!

Supplies for Burp Cloths – Pre-folded Diapers & Scrap Fabric

If I get a bit organized, I’ll try to write up a tutorial for these. They are scrap friendly and you only need to buy some pre-folded diapers.

I’m back to making tops for Fabric Cafe. Last week I got two Flimsies finished.  They were made using patterns for a new book coming out later this year, so I can’t show them to you.  BUT, I can show you the cute fabric I’m using.

These were fun tops to make!

Hope you get some stitching done this week.

Happy Stitching & Moving!
