I was surprised at how much sewing I got done in October (in addition to my Knee PT). As usual, some of my time was spent cleaning and just looking for fabric.
Finishes:
** I made some Luggage Tags to be used as Name Tags at our Fall Retreat.

I reworked a pattern I found on the Internet and was pleased with the result. I still hope to write up a Tutorial to post.

** I made a little zipper bag for the 3-year-old son of my Home Health Physical Therapist. She is wonderful! She worked with my husband 3 years ago when he had his two knees replaced, so I definitely wanted her to help me in my recovery.

Gift Bag – Including a Bottle of Bubbles and Stickers
** I finished binding & added a label to a Queen Topper Quilt. You can read about it here, and I will post more pictures and details later. Plus made a companion Pillowcase to match.

** I made a mini quilt – “My Motto” for a quilt retreat door prize (ok, still working on the binding).

** Finally, I made more Kennel/Shelter beds for my local quilt shop, Capital Quilts. I understand more have been sent out to comfort shelter animals affected by the recent Hurricanes (Florence & Michael).

** Graduated from Home Physical Therapy to Out Patient Physical Therapy. My knee is getting better & stronger, but more work is needed.
Exercising my new knee will continue to take up a lot of my time, but I do hope to have some sewing time. November Goals:
** I will be attending a Quilt Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and am packing a few projects to work on, which include
## From My Carolina Home’s Autumn Jubilee Projects – Pumpkin Blocks & Star Blocks for a Table Runner or Small Quilt (haven’t decided) and Pumpkin Placemats
## November One Monthly Goal (OMG) – Fall Placemats from the Prize I won in August. I wrote about this here.
## Tulip Time Wall Hanging – I got the fabric for this back in March.
Well, I’d better get my knee moving. Hope you are getting some stitching time this weekend.
Happy Stitching & Moving!

I’d love a tutorial on the luggage tags. They would make great Christmas gifts for next year. We have a large family, so, I’d be making lots of them.
