August 2019 – OMG & UFO

One Monthly Goal (OMG)

Linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal August Link-up.

I’m continuing to work on my three Project Linus Mystery QALs. I’m making two copies of PL 2017 – “Exploring the World with Ethan” and one copy of PL 2018 – “Sweet Violet’s Bakery & Confectionery” and each month I’ve been choosing a block to complete.

This month, for PL 2018 – “Sweet Violet,” I plan to finish the Cupcake Block. Finishing this block, I will be about halfway through making blocks for this quilt.

And for PL 2017, “Ethan’s Travels”, I plan to add borders to all the Blocks for Quilt #2. I think I have all the blocks for Quilt #1 finished and may have one more block to make for Quilt #2.

UFO

I’m substituting my Sewing Room Remodel/Organization for the scheduled UFO. Actually I’m finding more UFOs as I clean, so my list is definitely growing. I’m looking forward to when my room is done. I feel confident that my improved working space will help me get a lot of my UFOs done. As well as my OMG blocks, I’m planning on working on small projects while working on my room.

Happy Stitching!

Imagine cleaning the house and finding UFOs! LOL One good reason not to clean. I have enough already found. Your projects look like great ones, so best of luck with your monthly goal for August.
