After getting the Fabric Cafe tops in the mail, I did a quick clean-up in my sewing room. I pulled out one of my OMG projects to work on.
But before starting that, my eyes fell on one of my UFOs. Actually this one had been scheduled for April; and although I had pulled it out, it wasn’t done. So with a reasonably clean sewing room, I decided it was time.

This has been waiting for a finish way too long. It was a simple finish, as it was almost completed – just stitch the binding to the back & then stitch it to the front. Both by machine. So why hadn’t it gotten done? One part of my Remodel/Organization was to declutter and give myself space around my sewing machine to more comfortably stitch on large quilts. It was so much easier with the added space.
Well, it’s done. I had already added the label, and made a Standard Pillowcase as well as a Travel Pillow. So all that was left was to wash & pack it for mailing.
Today, it’s off to the Post Office and then an afternoon of hand stitching. I’m making progress on my hand piecing, and I’ll share that later.
Here’s hoping you are getting some stitching accomplised.
Happy Stitching,
Quilt Mouse
