These past months have gone by in a blur – One day seeming the same as the previous one. I did spend time in my sewing room, but not quilting. I’m hoping to try to get my sewing & quilting back on track. So I’m back to making lists to help me keep it straight.

I need to clean in my sewing room and move my mask making fabric to a shelf. I imagine more masks & surgical caps are in my future, but hopefully not as my primary project.
My August UFO #7 – FQS 2014 Wishes QAL

Actually this was the UFO chosen for March, but I didn’t get to work on it. So I’ve chosen to pick up where I left off. There are only 3 blocks left, but one of the borders is pieced with 2-1/2″ squares. I may be working on this for a couple of months. The work remaining to complete the top/flimsy includes
- Piece 3 Blocks
- Add sashing & inner border
- Piece & Add Outer Border
My August OMG – Work on Quilt for New Grandson.

We have a new grandson, so of course, he needs a quilt! I have the top nearly finished. My Goal this month is to add the final border, piece the backing and baste the quilt sandwich. And if I get it quilted & add the binding, that will be extra special!

I’m linking up to Elm Street Quilts – August One Monthly Goal.
Do you make lists? And do you find they help you accomplish more? Hope you find some time to stitch this weekend!
Congrats on your new grandson. I always make lists. Unfortunately, it doesn’t mean that I get everything done, but it does help me stay more on track.
