First – Because it’s so easy to forget. For those of us who “Spring Forward, Fall Back” with our clocks every Spring & Fall, just a reminder Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00 AM this Sunday morning, March 14th. While most of our electronics will change the time themselves, there still is the Microwave and Stove Top Clocks and a few other items that need personal attention.
Did you know that March is National Quilting Month and that Saturday, March 20th is National Quilting Day? So time to celebrate and spend the day making a quilt! I know, if you’re like me, you have plenty of projects going, but how about diving into your fabric stash and making a quilt for charity.
And here is a perfect project to make and celebrate while supporting Project Linus.

Join us again this year for Project Linus’ fund-raising, Covid-Comfort Mystery Quilt. For a $10 donation to Project Linus, you will get a quilt pattern. The pattern will be available on the Project Linus site, click on Store. While there you can browse the other patterns they have available, including the previous Fall Mystery Challenges.
I think this may become my 6th Current Project! What a great way to use up fabric in my Stash. I plan on working on this the entire weekend – Of course, you cannot just celebrate quilting in one day.
Happy Stitching!

Wonderful idea for a National Quilt Day project.
