The Secret’s Out

I’ve been patiently waiting and now I can share some of the tops I made for Fabric Cafe this past July.

Several years after I first started working for Fabric Cafe, Donna released Quick’n Easy 3-yard Quilts book with 8 quilt patterns made with 3 yards of fabric. She has published 11 more books since then.

This book has been out of print for 5 years and a few things have changed. So now we have the 2nd Edition of Quick’n Easy 3-yard Quilts.

What’s Changed? You might be wondering. Over the years the basic format of the patterns has evolved. This new book has brought these 8 patterns into the lastest format.

But, you say, that’s not so new. But the major addition to this Revised Quick’n Easy is that the previous version did not have instructions on how to increase the quilts to a Twin (using 6 yards) or a King/Queen size (using 12 yards). So you are no longer limited to just making a throw size quilt.

This past July we updated the models in this book using current fabrics. To be honest, some fabric still hasn’t been delivered. If interested in the specific fabric used in a model, you can request to be notified by email when it gets in.

Here are three of the patterns in the new Quick’n Easy.

1 – Friendship Star (44″ x 62″)

2 – Rail Fence (44″ x 62″)

3 – Pinwheel Plus One (45″ x 59″)

You can watch Donna’s video about the new book’s release. Can you spot the three that I made?

So glad I’m able to share with you some of the 25 quilt tops I’ve been making this year for Fabric Cafe. Do you have a favorite?

Happy Stitching!
