Just one of those days. We left the house about 8 am & got home a little after 7 pm. A friend from our seminary days is retiring from the church he has served for 35 years and we attended his celebration. It was a fun time catching up with them and seeing their children & grandchildren.
So we did a lot of driving today. We call it “Quality Car Time.” It’s surprising how much talking you get done while riding in the car.
It may be officially Fall, but you had to look real hard to see the beginning of the leaves changing colors
I really didn’t mind. We love any excuse to go driving in the Blue Ridge Mountains!
Actually, you could say we did some thing quilty. We delivered my QOV/Old Glory (top & backing) to my friend who does Longarm quilting. When she’s finished quilting it, I’ll add a label & the binding.
Today will be a serious sewing day, but may have to do some cooking. We have some Bananas getting very ripe.
Happy Stitching!
