Day #2 Blog Tour Tip: What thread spindle do you use on your machine? Did you know it makes a difference? Spools of thread are wound two different ways and work best if used on the correct spindle – horizontal or vertical. Check out this tip on the Blog Tour this morning.
Today’s Blog Tour Bitty Block is a cute 3” Spool Block made especially for this Blog Tour. Scroll down on Quiltmaker’s Blog Tour – Day #2 and download your free block pattern.

My Tested Blocks –
Here is a cute pieced block that you can create for your holiday decorations. See the door banner that Lorna created.
Here is the whimsical reindeer block that I made. It is headed for a special project that I’ll share later.
Here is another cute block for the holiday season! It goes together very nicely and the added embroidery gives it a special appearance.
I had fun making this block and it is just about time to finish it up to decorate for Christmas. I have to add the embroidery once I figure out how I want it finished.
That’s the end of Day #2. Join Quiltmaker & me tomorrow as we highlight more designers and their blocks from Volume #12 of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks.
